THE WORKS OF F.D. KRYUKOV OF THE DON PERIOD

Abstract.The article aims at the integral analysis of the works of the Cossack writer F.D. Kryukov, who opened for the Russian reader multicoloured flavor of the Don region and the Don Cossacks. The planned research is the first attempt in the history of national and regional literature to organize the scattered information about the writer, including the period of 1917 - 1920's, which is not practically studied, to make the integral analysis of his literary and journalistic work. In addition, almost all the works of F.D. Kryukov was published in the newspapers, which determines the specific approach of the writer to display the reality as a writer-journalist. The article determines the writer’s thematic preferences, describes the new type of the character – Cossak, a native of the river Don.
