Abstract. The article deals with the influence of the literary tradition, comic techniques, motif structure, plot and compositional features of dramatic miniatures of A.V. Vampilov and clarifies their genre affiliation. The author pays special attention to the issue of searching and creating new means of сomedy by the playwriter.
