FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICS OF THE PROGRAMS OF THE CHANNEL “PUBLIC TELEVISION OF RUSSIA”

Abstract. The article presents the results of the analysis of the main programs of the OTR TV channel. The forms of implementation of the functions of the forum, value-oriented, project, socio-creative, are revealed. The methods of involving the expert community, public organizations and ordinary citizens in the construction of the agenda, in the creation of program content, in the search for solutions to urgent social problems are described. The results of the study can be used by journalists specializing in the coverage of social issues and taken into account when determining the standards of social journalism.
